As you know, Joomla is an open source platform which enables you to build websites and powerful online applications. It’s also one of the most popular Content Management System (CMS).  Now, we will show you how to create an article with Joomla, one of thing to be done to create a Joomla website.

Step 1: Click on Add New Article, it’ll show a WYSIWYG editor where you’ll write and format your article.

Step 2: If you wanna add images to your article, you can use “Image” button, it’ll show a pop-up window with the existing images on your site, now you click on the image you want or upload a new image and click Insert.

Step 3: After completion of the content, title, selecting category, put it on Published status and Public Access.

Now you can see your first Joomla article.

The next thing you need to do is to link articles in the Joomla 3 menu to your visitors can actually be able to find and see it.

Step 4: Use the Main menu manager -> Add New Menu Item

Step 5: Select the type of the menu item.

Step 6: If you want the new menu to simply open the article you have just created simply press the Single Article option.

Step 7: Once you choose this option, it will appear a box for selecting article exactly that you wish to link to.

And Your newly created menu item that links to your new Joomla article will display like this:
